Volunteers
We could never do what we do without people! People, our volunteers, are what makes Spring Valley succeed. Listed here are just some of the most common ways to help out. For more information about any of the opportunities listed below, please contact the office
Ephesians 2:10 says: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Nothing says lovin' like somethin' yummy in the belly! God gives many gifts to the people in His family and in the Spring Valley family we don't seem to lack for creative geniuses in the kitchen! Sharing that gift in the form of a treat with the people who walk through the doors of SVCC is just a little something we do to help people feel welcomed and comfortable.
The SVCC Audio Crew is made up of a group of technical and musically minded people who take the activities and events of Spring Valley and make them sound their best.
The Media Crew supports the SVCC worship experience by assisting with multimedia elements such as song lyrics, video clips, still and motion images, teaching notes, etc.
The Set-up and Teardown Crews set and unset the equipment needed each Sunday morning for our worship and education spaces at the Allendale Middle School.
When you go to a new place for the first time it can be a bit awkward… you might not know where to park, who'll be there, what they'll expect you to do or know, where you should sit… it's intimidating! At Spring Valley we try to remove some of that anxiety by starting your experience off with a welcoming face. Our greeters do just that, they greet! Greeters welcome people on a Sunday morning with a smile, handshake, and a stash of helpfulness and assistance for any question or need you may have.
The SVCC Worship Team is a group of worshipers that love to communicate with God through music and encourage others to do the same. The team is made up of acoustic, electric, and bass guitars, keyboard, drum set, various percussion instruments, and vocalists all working together to create a postmodern style of worship. The purpose of the SVCC Worship Team is to use their spiritual and musical gifts to enrich the worship experience and usher people into God's presence. They strive to humbly model worship that is God-centered (not performance centered) not only on Sunday mornings, but throughout everyday life.
Each Sunday morning worship concludes with an offer for you to be prayed for by members of our Prayer Team. Whether you are seeking physical, emotional, relational or spiritual healing or have a celebration to share, they look forward to praying with you.
In addition, an Email Prayer Team receives requests throughout the week from people seeking prayer support for themselves, family members and friends. You can email your request by clicking HERE
