Youth
The Spring Valley Youth Groups are dedicated to continue the mission of the church in developing disciples of Jesus. Being completely unified in the overall vision of Spring Valley, we understand the importance of raising up the next generation of Christians. Who Am I Really? On the journey from 6th through 12th Grades, it is our goal, our mission, to help these kids discover who they are in God's image, so they can handle the years that invevitably define who they may become. "The theif does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10
High School
What is our mission? Coming to our high school youth group, known as ALIVE, you will be blessed. God has already put amazing leaders that love all of these young men and women. It’s our aim to help them discover who they are according to their Creator. During the four years in high school providing opportunities to experience what its like to be a follower of Christ while growing spiritually, it is our passion to see these kids grow to be history makers and world changers! ~Jeremy Underwood and senior high leaders
What To Expect:
We meet on Sunday nights from 5pm-7pm locally at the Underwood home (contact Jeremy for directions). It's a time for friends, worship, fun, spiritual growth and serving others. Check out the calendar.
Middle School
What is Middle School Youth Group? Youth Group is simply that. A group of youth, of students and volunteers getting together weekly to share their stories and live their lives together while discovering what it means to live like Christ. We are ever changing ever evolving, ever trying to figure out how G-d can best use us to change the world.
What To Expect:
We meet every Sunday evening from 6p-8p at various locations. You can expect to be challenged and to grow in Christ. We as a group are constantly trying to push one another to become Christ's hands in the world and to not be of it. We will laugh, we may cry, but we will be better because of it. Some of our time together will be spent in large group, relaxing, letting loose and refocusing ourselves.The rest of the time will be spent in our small groups; a time to share and to get to know one another deeper, more intimately.
